Jericho-times, happy times!

Jericho is a brand new community in Leo XIII that consists of 14 students. Cosiness, lots of energy, hilarious moments and a sparkling cultural mix form the basics of our group. As both international and Belgian students live in our dorm, the main language is English. Together, we participate in a variety of activities which we want to present to you below. Let us entertain you…
Common meal

Every week we assemble in our kitchen – the beating heart of our hallway – to enjoy a common meal. Not only we get satisfied by a delightful dinner, those evenings are also a chance to have interesting discussions in a pleasant atmosphere! Through a rotation system every week two other people have to cook. This has a double profit: people who don’t know how to cook get to learn it quite fast and you get to know a lot of different international recipes!
Jericho-activities

Once in a while we have a group-binding activity. Based on the (sudden) ideas of Jericho-members we watch movies, go out, have cosy chitchats in our kitchen, play a Saint Nicolas game, celebrate Christmas together,...
LeoXIII-activities

As a LeoXIII-community we think it is important to participate in activities where students of different corridors and cultures are brought together. It’s so much fun to have a bar night together, to play some games, attend a Christmas dance ball, play along in a kotconcert or to eat pancakes at a carnival evening. For the record, we want to warn you that Jericho is quite creative and passionate in these activities;) This semester we won the price for best-dressed-dorm on Fat Tuesday (see the Pulcino Pio-picture on your right)!!
Dessert evening

One day a year we make people happy with – Jummy! – a dessert buffet. For a ridiculously small price everyone can eat as much as (s)he can! Nothing as lovely as baking together!
