Next Wednesday we will pray for the victims of the typhoon. The Philipine community of Leuven will lead a meditation starting at 6.30 pm. At 8 pm we will pray during our weekly Student Mass especially for the victims of this disaster. It will also be possible to donate some money to help the victims.
"I wish to express my closeness to the people of the Philippines and of that region. Unfortunately there are many victims and the damage is enormous. We pray now in silence ... for our brothers and sisters, and we will seek to also send concrete help." (Pope Francis)
